What happens to your team when you don’t have a strong delivery methodology?

In the absence of a well-thought out and diligently implemented delivery methodology, Salesforce project delivery (and the success thereof) is dependent upon individuals.

This is why we have methodologies—the framework is a set of ways of working together, much like plays for a football team.

My son Charlie, a high school football linebacker, understands the value of plays well. Without a playbook, there would 11 individuals all running around, hardly in a coordinated or effective fashion. Instead, the coach gives them plays, they learn them, practice them, and execute them. They focus on the plays, because the right plays (and talent) win games.

Going into Salesforce delivery without a delivery playbook is much like playing a football game without plays.

In contrast, a well-planned and executed delivery methodology can put your team, and your organization, on a firm and confident footing, greatly increasing the odds of project success, client retention, and, the satisfaction and retention of your team.
